This year, the Amspec team identified an opportunity to decrease onsite inefficiencies by eliminating paper. The company sought to:

• Remove administration burden from site teams and maximise worker tool time;
• Provide the business with project performance intelligence to make smarter, more preemptive decisions.

The efficiency gain of replacing paper

To deliver these goals, Amspec partnered with SignOnSite to implement a Connected Worker Solution. This solution would be the final piece of the puzzle to eliminating paper onsite.

Amspec is achieving its goals by eliminating paper compliance processes for all workers. The strategy includes replacing:

• Site attendance sheets for SignOnSite’s automated mobile sign-on;
• Induction forms for SignOnSite’s pre-filled induction workflow;
• Paper credential storage for SignOnSite’s cloud database;

Furthemore, Amspec is supporting safety initiatives with SignOnSite’s real-time communications.

Now, Amspec can maximise worker tool time; by replacing paper compliance. As a result, workers will save upwards of 40 minutes a day.

Amspec will be able to prevent safety accidents; by delivering real-time communications to every worker's phone. Doing this will help workers be more informed on hazards and risks that promote adverse risk behaviours.

Amspec is freeing up the Site Manager's time by reducing manual site diary entry with automated integrations between SignOnSite's and Procore which will also improve data accuracy.
