Alex is a construction professional turned tech CEO. Her residential and commercial construction background gives her a unique perspective as the only safety tech founder with experience running safety on construction sites. Alex is passionate about making technology work for everyone on site, an ethos which is shared across the SignOnSite team.
Alex has an MBA and a Master of Marketing from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Building and Construction Management from the University of Canberra. She has worked as a Project Manager on residential and commercial jobs in NSW, ACT and VIC; and as Procurement Director for Australasia's largest healthcare fitout company.
Desai Link is a safety practitioner and deep thinker about the logic that underpins work health and safety practice. Desai has over 12 years’ experience in HSE, working in Transport, Construction, Hospitality and Oil and Gas. He has also worked as a consultant, undertaken independent investigations, and appeared as an expert witness in relation to health and safety. He draws on his experience from his previous career in law.
He’s also a co-host of The Circus of Safety videocast about all things related to work health and safety, alongside Brenton and Andy. The podcast sheds light on topical issues picked randomly by the Spinning Wheel of Death, as well as some tongue-in-cheek comments and banter along the way.
